We're on day 2 of Cate and I being stuck at home due to the icy conditions and cold temps here in Dallas right now. We don't leave the house everyday, but we at least like having the option to! Poor Maggie is also getting the short end of the stick here because of the ice, she can't get her daily walk and has to wait for Cate to nap/sleep before I can get out for more than a moment.
Anyway, Cate wanted paper and a writing utensil this morning while we were having rolling blackouts. She promptly took her paper and pencil to the table and just started to draw and scribble.
