Week 24

Well, here's the belly at week 24.....I think the shirt makes it seem a little bit larger than it is, but that's probably in my mind! We're doing well, Cate flutters around my belly all the time, but she's not keeping me up at night thankfully!

Baby Merrill's Arrived!

I'm a little late, but baby Merrill Sophia Menacho has arrived! She greeted her mom and dad on March 11 at 11:56pm. I can only hope our delivery goes half as smoothly as Melissa's did! Congratulations guys, she's beautiful!

Big brother Harrison (spider-boy) holding little Merrill.

She was awake and alert the whole time we were over there visiting.

Mom's Visit

This past weekend my mom came in town to help us get ready for Cate's arrival. This is a photo of us in Cate's room....thought everyone would like to see the green we chose. She tried to get Cate to kick for her, but I think Cate was being a little shy.

We finally decided on fabric for the crib bedding, the stripes on the skirt, the flowers on the outer bumper pad and the polka dots inside the bumper pad. I guess we steared away from the traditional pastel baby colors!Mom took a picture of us out on the screened in porch, we really lucked out and had a beautiful weekend (Maggie just won't look at the camera!). Thanks for coming to visit Mom, it was great to have you here!

Baby Shower for Menacho Family

In early March we hosted a fiesta baby shower for our good friend's the Menacho's and their upcoming arrival, Merrill (Cate's first friend). We all a great time, and Merrill got some great outfits, so she doesn't have to be dressed in just big brother's hand me downs!

The kiddos (yound and older) had a good time playing doctor with Connor's kit....I think everyone got a clean bill of health that night.
