We took advantage of a Monday off (for all of us) and headed out to Grapevine to the Gaylord Texan to see the Shrek ICE display!  It was colder than we expected, but Cate does know who Shrek and Donkey are, so she had good time.

BIG news

 Cate has a secret, she's been dying to share.....

She's going to be a BIG SISTER in May next year!

Even though, she doesn't quite understand what it means right now, she's been practicing taking care of her babies and will be a great big sister!

(old news to some....but just trying to get caught up around here!)

We Moved!

In November, we packed up and moved a few miles across town to a rental house.  It came complete with a backyard playground for Miss Cate to enjoy - and she's logged some serious hours sliding and swinging!

10 year TCU Reunion

This year was my 10 year reunion at TCU, so my girlfriends and I have been planning this as our reunion for the year, and it did not disappoint.  We all stayed in downtown Fort Worth (thanks to Nana and Suzie for coming to keep Cate), we had a great dinner Friday night, went out to a few clubs we visited on occasion in college and called it a night.  Saturday we had a brunch, tailgating, a blow-out football game 69-0, a little Tri-Delt reunion and dinner with the girls at a wine bar downtown.  I have not laughed so hard a long time.  It took me at least a week to catch up on the sleep I lost over the weekend!  And despite my few photos, most of our husbands made the trip too, they got put behind the cameras a lot.....

2011 Horned Frog Football

It's that time of year again, TCU Football Season!!  

The stadium renovations are in full swing, and it's going to be amazing.  There is already more shade and covered areas to walk around which is great when you're in attendance with a 2 year old!

 It's going to be a great season, despite the early loss to Baylor (and now SMU).  Hey we were 1-10 when my friends and I started at TCU!

Evening with Friends

During Lanny's first full weekend off in 5 months, we attending the first TCU home game, went to Grapefest with the Baades, and then had dinner with the Baades and Pittmans.  It was a great weekend, and it was really nice to have Lanny around for more than one day at a time!
