Bodemann/Ram Wedding Weekend

I was a terrible photographer during the weekend of Brian and Rosie's wedding....too many people to see, drinks to enjoy and a busy 2 year old running around!

Side note...Cate and Ozi the little ring bearer go to school together, so we thought they'd be happy to walk down the aisle together.  Not so much.  Ozi was great, handsome and smiling, Cate was spent before the wedding started, so she walked with me and sat with Lanny the whole time.  Refused to be in the photos, except for the ones before the wedding like the one above.  What happens when the reception starts?  Party animal, all over the dance floor and I think she must have had at least 5 cake balls (she is her mother's daughter....).

Wedding Celebration in Hot Springs

In early September we were in Hot Springs to celebrate the marriage of my cousin Scott and his wife Tonya.  They were married in May in Belize, just the two of them, so they had a reception/party in my parent's yard to celebrate!  Cate of course had a great time running around and taking her Papa wherever she liked....she stayed up entirely too late all weekend, but had a great time!

In late August we attended a wedding shower for Rosie and Brian given by some of her mother's closest friends over the years.  It was great Thai food, good company, and Cate had a blast dancing the night away!

I know we're WAY behind on the blog, but Cate doesn't allow for much time sitting at the computer these days!  So, I'll try to get caught up as I can, and hopefully not get so far behind again!

Cate FINALLY let me braid her hair in August before a swim date with friends (she's let me do it every now and then since then, but it definitely takes some bribery!)

Cate also noticed that I have painted toe nails, so she wanted hers done as well!

2 Years Old

Cate turned 2 years old yesterday, and did she celebrate in style!

I'll post more this week, but just wanted to give a sneak peek of the fun birthday this little girl had!

More Birthday Weekend Fun

Cate had a very fun filled birthday weekend, on Sunday we had lunch with the whole family.  After a nap for Cate, she got to play with her new wagon and her Aunt Hannah!

Cate's 2nd Birthday Party

On Cate's actual birthday (July 23rd), we had a Mickey Mouse 2nd Birthday party at Uncle Brian and Aunt Rosie's house.  We had a great time despite the 100+ temperatures we've been experiencing daily for over a month now.  The kiddos did a little "swimming", we had a hot dog lunch, and of course Mickey Mouse cupcakes!

We had a great day with our friends and family, Cate was so lucky to have Momo and Papa, Aunt Juju and Uncle John and Aunt Hannah for coming in to celebrate!

Height 36.5 in

She's growing fast, as is her vocabulary...new words every day, definitely has her moments of "terrible two's", occasionally wants to sit on the potty (but we're not pushing for potty training yet, just letting her tell us what she's interested in), and of course singing the ABC's....we listen on repeat practically in the car (thanks Aunt Juju, your CD backfired, she's more interested in just the one song...).  I look at her everyday, amazed that it's already been 2 years....where does the time go?!
