We spent as much time outside in April as we could!

Just going to try update month by month to get ourselves caught up!
Cate got to experience her first doughnut (thanks to mom's pregnancy cravings). She thoroughly enjoyed it!


We were busy painting, usually starting with brushes and ending with our hands (and a bath!).






We've been dressing up with our homemade crown and "jewels".


Dad helped us write out our valentines.





Playing outside when the weather allows us (this one was on valentine's day)


We also took a family trip to the Dallas World Aquarium.

Christmas in Arkansas

We were planning to spend the Christmas holiday in Dallas with my parents, but my grandpa's health wasn't great, so we decided to head to Hot Springs for the holiday. Aunt Julie and uncle John came from St Louis as well!

Cate was spoiled with gifts from her grandparents, aunt and uncles, she's still talking about toys from Christmas!






She had to try on ALL her new items....at once!

We took advantage of a Monday off (for all of us) and headed out to Grapevine to the Gaylord Texan to see the Shrek ICE display!  It was colder than we expected, but Cate does know who Shrek and Donkey are, so she had good time.
